Wigs FAQs

Q: No matter what I do, my wig still keeps slipping up on the back of my head. What should I do?

It sounds like your wig is too small. You may be able to use the size straps at the back to loosen it, or secure it with lots of bobby pins. If you have very thick or curly hair, consider straightening it first before putting it under the wig cap. Straightening your hair will cut down on a lot of volume.

Q:My wig leaves a gap on my forehead. Where do I buy the wig glue?

You can purchase wig glue online or at any beauty supply store. You also can purchase double-sided tape made for use with wigs.

Q:How do I make my hairline look natural with a wig?

Purchase either a lace front wig or a full lace wig. Lace fronts tend to be cheaper than full lace wigs, so if you're looking for a cost-effective option, opt for a lace front.

Q:The lace front is loose on my forehead. Do I have to use glue or tape? I didn't have to do so with my first version of this wig but it's just a lace front and this one is a lace front monofilament crown.

You can either cut away that lace at the front, or simply fold it under the wig. If it is too loose, it will show, so it is best to get rid of it.

Q:Can you get a curly hairstyle without using heat?

Yes, you can. Add little gel to your hair set curlers for about say 2 hours and you will have curls fairly quickly.

Q:Can you dye a synthetic wig? What should you use?

Yes,you can. But make sure you use a heat-resistant synthetic wig and get the things ready before you process dying to the wig.
